Ethiopia Kids Family Culture Camp Fund Raiser Dinner

*Edited for Date Changes*

Happy New Year! We have already begun planning for this year's Ethiopia Kids Family Culture Camp!

We have scheduled our fund raiser dinner for March 10, 2012 at Christ Church at Mason! We hope to see you and your family there! (NOTE: DINNER DATE IS NOW MARCH 17, 2012!!)

Also, we are going to be cooking for the dinner on March 3 (NOW MARCH 10) from about 8am until 5pm. It is a huge undertaking to prepare for our dinner, which always has a large turnout. We will need the help of many volunteers and would love your help.

If you are interested in learning more about the dinner and/or assisting in the dinner preparation, please email us at ethiopiakids@gmail.com.

And, be watching this page for more information, too. We are so excited about this year's camp, which is four weeks from tomorrow!

Photos from the Dinner

We had a great time at the dinner! We hope that everyone who attended enjoyed the food, music, dancing, coffee ceremony, injera demonstration, silent auction, and market! We are now going to spend the next 4 months planning a great camp for our Ethiopian adoptive community. Hope you're there, too! Also, if you have any photos you'd like to share from the dinner, please email them to us at ethiopiakids@gmail.com.

Ethiopian Fundraiser Dinner Tomorrow!

Our dinner is in less than 24 hours! We are so excited to celebrate with our friends and family tomorrow and enjoy a great Ethiopian meal. The Dayton Women's Group (consisting of both Ethiopian and Eritrean women) have been so helpful and generous to use in helping us prepare the meal and get everything just right.

We are going to have a silent auction as well so don't forget to bring some cash or your check book if you want to bid on any of the Ethiopian items we'll have available.

The money raised tomorrow will assist us in creating the best Culture Camp possible for our Ethiopian adoptive community we are so fortunate to be a part of!
